Regeln für das Simple Past

Das Simple Past wird verwendet, um über abgeschlossene Handlungen in der Vergangenheit zu sprechen. Hier sind einige Regeln für den Einsatz des Simple Past:

  1. Zeitpunkt: Handlungen, die zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt in der Vergangenheit abgeschlossen wurden.
  2. Dauer: Handlungen, die über einen längeren Zeitraum in der Vergangenheit stattgefunden haben.
  3. Reihenfolge: Handlungen, die in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge stattgefunden haben.
  4. Vergangenheit im Vergangenen: Handlungen, die bereits in der Vergangenheit abgeschlossen sind, wenn von einer anderen Vergangenheitshandlung gesprochen wird.

Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass das Simple Past nur für regelmäßige Verben gebildet wird, indem -ed an das Infinitiv verb angehängt wird. Unregelmäßige Verben haben eine eigene Form im Simple Past, die man auswendig lernen muss.

Frage und Verneinung mit Simple Past

Um Fragen im Simple Past zu bilden, wird die Frageform „did + Infinitiv“ verwendet. Hier ist ein Beispiel:

Frage: Did you eat dinner last night? (Hast du gestern Abend zu Abend gegessen?)

Um eine Verneinung im Simple Past zu bilden, verwendet man „did not“ oder „didn’t“ + Infinitiv. Hier ist ein Beispiel:

Verneinung: I did not eat dinner last night. (Ich habe gestern Abend nicht zu Abend gegessen.)

Oder: I didn’t eat dinner last night.

Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass sich das Hauptverb in der Frage- und Verneinungsform im Simple Past nicht ändert, unabhängig davon, ob es ein regelmäßiges oder unregelmäßiges Verb ist.
